Joni stepped onto the world music scene at the Casino Barriere (Montreux Jazz Festival) in 2004, aged 12.
She began playing the violin aged five and within three years was accepted into the Junior School at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Joni has performed her songs in the UK, across Europe and beyond, at venues ranging from intimate theatres in Paris and Belgium to 60,000 seater stadiums in Germany (during Phil Collins' 2005 World Tour). Television and radio appearances in the UK, France and Switzerland have followed.
Joni received a standing-ovation at the first Montrose Music Festival in May 2008 and spent the rest of the summer performing live at venues across the UK.
In July 2008, Joni was chosen by the Performing Rights Society to front a media campaign to raise awareness of the importance of performance royalties in supporting the songwriters of tomorrow.
Live TV and radio appearances (Channel M, BBC Breakfast Show, BBC Radio Manchester, Radio Lancashire) have followed, alongside an ever increasing schedule of concert and festival bookings.
In October 2008, Joni's song 'America' won the Make it Break it Songwriting Contest.
Joni's six track EP 'Run for Cover' was recorded at LIPA and released in June 2009.
Joni was featured as an 'inspirational teenager' by The Independent newspaper in October 2009.

Joni performed at The Halo, London on April 7th and the Airport Club, Shoreham on Good Friday.
